ALSO: this might not be the BEST way to do it, but its really quick... so if you want just a little more control, your going to have to use switches and stuff... or if you have pro is even easier than that but I won't go into that...
with all that being said, lets go:
so first off we are going to make a door.
normally I would put some more work into the door... but for the sake
of the tutorial, we are going to keep it simple:

Then place the knob on the door, and voila! we have a door!

now create a bone layer, placing the vector layer inside it.
then get the "Add Bone" tool, and make sure you place the bone starting on the side that apposes the other side of the knob...
...
just look at the picture:

and make it end at around the other side of the knob... it should look something like this:

so now go to frame 1, and select the "Scale Bone" tool, then select the bone to create a hold frame, then go to, say, frame 48, then scale the bone towards the other side of the door... it should look like this:

yay! now you have an animated door opening!
well, I hope this helps! some of you probably know of this trick... its useful to make a quick door in AS 6 debut... but as you can tell, its not the BEST way to do it... but if you wanna spend more time on you walk cycle rather a door... then be my guest and use this!

Thanks for reading! Trey.
