This may not be anything new to many but it is to me and it seems pretty cool - and super easy.
simple shapes with high curvature settings
I am playing about with how these shapes can be animated/bent/warped. Not sure if anything productive will emerge but it is fun.

As far as I remember (don't have the file yet) it is done with a (or two) star of lot of peaks that have increased the curvature. To produce the rotating effect I rotate the points of the inner diameter in one direction and the outer ones in the opposite.
But the fun is in the testing!
