You're right Genete, this character is under construction and I have the mouth left to do, I'm working on how to build it so that I can use lipsync without interference from the headturn (using blend morph), I have not figured it out yet.Genete wrote: I only miss a bit of more expressions on his face.

Take a look on that thread. You actually can make a character talking and turning using blend morph, just give to each mouth each pose you made, then blend.
This was the tread that made me start exploring Blend Morphsselgin wrote:viewtopic.php?p=77099#77099ulrik wrote:I'm working on how to build it so that I can use lipsync without interference from the headturn (using blend morph), I have not figured it out yet.

The thing with my lipsyncing is that I use point motion for the mouth in my headturn, which means that I can't use point motion for lipsyncing so I have to use bones and I have not yet found the best way to do this.
bones for lip syncing
Me too but I think that blend morphs are only in ASP6 so I've been looking for a thread that explains how to do expressions with bones. I've seen examples of rigs with control bones on the side and would like to modify it for lipsync too. I think you could use a bone to turn the head too. I purchased the manual and I've done all the tutorials I could find and I'm still... uh... clueless.ulrik wrote:The thing with my lipsyncing is that I use point motion for the mouth in my headturn, which means that I can't use point motion for lipsyncing so I have to use bones and I have not yet found the best way to do this.
I duplicate my mouth layer a bunch of times and put them in a switch layer then use point motion for the phonemes. I link the soundtrack and a lot of keyframes populate the timeline. Then I have to manually clean up and move the different keys. I think moving bones at the right frame would be less tedious.
any ideas?
