Animation Exercise

Post by shoepie »

Hi, I haven't done much animation lately so I decided to try and get back into it by doing a little exercise. It's nice not to have to worry about characters, plots and making it funny.

This is easily the best animation I've ever done, any tips and pointers appreciated.

Thanks Danimal and Parker.

This is the first time I have tried blocking out a characters movement beforehand with a simple shape. I think I will make that extra effort/step from now on. Looking at it now I probably should have made the rotation on the dive happen while he was hanging in the air as it's too fast on the way down.

Next weekend I hope to do a short dance and then maybe afterwards a short fight :)
