A little bit of our new show.

Post by amanandink »

Hi All,

Long time no post but I wanted to get back into posting some videos here and sharing a bit of what we are doing, but unfortunately most of what we have be doing for the past year is under restriction for posting, but here is a small scene from our new show, it shows the storyboard to line animation progression.
The storyboard was done in Flash by Tom Caulfield, a great animator working from Paris with us, while the animation was done in Anime Studio Pro by Marah Curran, who basically learned the programme on the job after 2 weeks fiddling with tutorials.
We are sticking with 5.6 for now, dont really want to upgrade in the middle of a show, and I hope to post more animation later.

See it on youtube here

or on to Vimeo

The episode is directed by Tom Caulfield and for anyone interested there is a full colour version of the scene available for viewing on The Variety Show blog @ http://www.amanandink.com/thevarietyshow

I hope you enjoy it.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting your animation process. This really was helpful and enlightening for me to see your rig in action and thought process behind animating. I'm particularly fascinated by how closely you stick to the storyboards.

I encourage more people to post vids like this awesome example!:
