Applying Styles

I have a tip which will sound trivial and inane to some,
but I spent the whole morning swearing and gnashing my teeth
and just worked it out.

I have to duplicate a whole heap of stuff (to rescale and reposition, makiing a "forest" of objects.)
So I copied existing shape styles and pasted into new applyable style
I created. Changing those master styles, nothing was changing.

I hadn't ticked the enable fill and enable line boxes in the applyable styles. Doh. For some reason the default was to have them turned off.

Like I said, sounds like no big deal, but might help someone out there trying applying styles for the first time (like I did today.)
