School project, live action + 2d

I'm new on the forums and i joined becaus I wanne have some feedback of you guys, I made this project with anime studio+ after effects + premiere

Hey Truphos,
I like the idea of mixing footage with animation - i had a few problems with your animation though:
1) the dark scenes are too dark, i can't really see whats going on - could be youtube compression though
2) the character doesn't look scared, and the turn is really flat, it kills the mood - you could have done so much more with him
3) i totally don't understand the concept - what does any of it have to do with the product?

As a stand alone animation it made some sense, although it needs some work - particularly on the human character, but as an advert it just seemed quite random!

3 -> The light goes on, so he's not seeing things any more. Don't really think they would buy it, bet that's not the point.
If you'd make the main character real live too, and make a little more "monsters" I'd like it.

actually that's a good idea - you may as well loose the cartoon guy and have a real live actor being scared... the cartoon guy isn't adding any emotion

Thanks for the great feadback guys, this is the first time I work with anime studio/after effects. And I will use your tips on my next animation. I still got one week left so I will find something out to show thats about the phillips lamp.
