How do I reset the interface of AS 7 pro?

I just bought it tonight and was going through the menus etc and now have layers etc no longer snapped to the edges.

Any help please?

Do you mean your layer palet is un-docked? If so, try going to the window sub-menu at the top and try checking/unchecking the palet you want docked again.

All that did was open or close the panel. It did not put it back into the snapped position.

I had moved the pallets around as I was playing.

Anyway initial thoughts are some things are definitely better than before while others I still need to get used to.

When I go to the top where it says FILE/EDIT/DRAW/BONE/ANIMATION/SCRIPTS/WINDOW/HELP and choose window, any undocked palet will have a check mark next to it. When I uncheck it the palet snaps back to its original location. I don't mean the top of the palet, which is the only way I can get a pallet to close like you described.
