Looking for a version 5 to version 7 pro guide

Post by Xelah »

So, I finally convinced the budget guys at my company to get me a copy of pro 7 after a successful safety campaign that made large use of some animations and posters that were made with anime studio 5 (non pro) over the course of the past two years.

I'd rather not have to read an entire tutorial that explains how to make shapes again... I'm pretty sure I've got that part down, but some basic things look to have been moved to counterintuitive places (like raise/lower shape being in the draw menu rather than buttons... and why doesn't spacebar weld points anymore when I've got translate points selected?).

Is there a what's different guide somewhere that I've missed, or should I just hunker down one evening and read how to use 7 like I've never used 5?

i don't know what you mean - space bar DOES weld points - and i dont think shape ordering has changed, use the arrow keys??

Are you using cutom tools (i.e. fazeks tools) - if so, spacebar will start the animation playing - you have to either hold space bar for like 2 seconds, or use autoweld ticked at the top...

Considering all the new features, you'd be a fool not to read the manual whether you know v5 or not! posting 'whats new' and then sitting back for days waiting for people to respond is just lazy, you could have read the whole manual by now.
