Frustrations in drawing death

Hi guys, Ive just started using Anime Studio 6 pro, lovely piece of software, i have followed all the tutorials i can but i always miss something, Ive drawn "Death" and im looking to animate him, the idea is to apply the bones and have his robes flow around it but im running into problems prior to even applying a bone structure.

Its hard to explain in text, I have drawn his hand and forearm which will protrude from his robes. my thoughts were to attatch the hand/arm to the upper arm which will be all cloth, but i find it hard as the hand is made up of various segments when i grab to move it only moves a certain area i.e. thumb and stretched out the weld points its attatched to, im having problems welding two pieces together.

Also, if you can imagine a sleeve and i want to slot the forearm/hand into, but then i have the problem of the far side of the sleeve being visable and when i "delete edge" and highlight the line i want gone, it "un-fills" the whole arm...

I honestly dont know if there is an easier way of doing the whole project, i would love to hear your thoughts on how YOU guys would go about doing it.

you have to split the end of your sleeve (the ring part) into two shapes. Break the shape by adding a vertical line at the top and the bottom, delete the existing fill, and refill back shape first then front shape. you will have to hide the line that is created on the break using the hide line tool... once you do that you can control the stack order of the back of the sleeve independantly of the front and slip the arm in between (as long as they are both on the same vector layer!)

see, i knew after moments someone would put me on the right path, thankyou alot, I was using the Delete Edge tool instead of hide line :-)

And im now using the arrow keys to promote the arm infront of the sleeve :-)

shape stacking is the key to everything... well not quite everything... but quite a lot! Check out techniques I describe in my first footer link :)
