Was bored so I wanted to tinker with the grass passing by effect I did earlier.
Here are some new effects that I did using those files as a foundation.
It would take a while to explain everything I did so I'll cut to the core of it.
Water Fall
http://www.mediafire.com/?5ze26gydjv3njv2
Rescaled the emitter and changed the rotation of the axis.
Moved the folder containing the emitter and also rotated the axis.
Changed the color to blue.
Added several duplicates and changed the sizes, velocity and count for each.
Created a loop to fade the large triangles out. Notice that the loop frames are equal to the life of the particles.
Psychedelic Twist
http://www.mediafire.com/?3x8p7a8h18zwn8n
Made the emitter very small and speed up the velocity.
Created a new folder layer moved the particles into it and the translated the center of the particle layer off to the side.
Changed the shape colors added a loop animation that spins the shape and scale them small to large or vis versa.
Animated the rotation of the root folder.
Turned Off "On At Start"
Went to frame 1 with particle layer selected and in Layer Tools had Particle Layer active and turned on "Particles On"
Duplicated the spinning particles and made a more random particle settings for variety.
Changed the colors.
PS
To change the colors Of the shapes, or even see them, I had to go to View/Direction/Front
Have fun...

I looked at the forums and found the jEdit solution to save as an older version of AS and tried it but it didn't work.
I made this post, maybe someone can help out or maybe a script already exists.

Hi animation world.
Yes, that technique would work with v6 to v5 but not v7. v7 added a BUNCH of new "thingies" to the file format to strip out/change. It could also be that 6.2 added in new stuff. I didn't update the technique for 6.2.fracturedray wrote:I looked at the forums and found the jEdit solution to save as an older version of AS and tried it but it didn't work.
