My new site

Post by ErikAtMapache »

Hello
I'm a long-time-reader of this forum (but a first time contributor). I've been using Anime Studio for about six months or so, and I've decided to start a new animation website using it. I thought I would post the address so that anyone here who is interested could take a look at it..

The address is:
www.StormCel.com

All cartoons are animated in Anime Studio, with the artwork being done in either Photoshop Elements or Anime Studio. Compositing and editing is done in Premiere Elements. Sound and music are created in Acid Music Maker. The actual videos are hosted on Revver.com.

I'm trying to put out a new episode every week or so.

Enjoy

I like your Dog Retired animation. It's very cute and funny. I bet kids would love that. I think the bird watching episodes could benefit from some judicious trimming. Your audience will catch on that you're establishing a pattern like the stomping drums very quickly. If you spend too long establishing the pattern, with nothing else happening in the shot, the audience will probably get bored. But if you speed up the pace of the story, it will be very engaging. Nice work on these and welcome to the forum!

Thanks a lot for all of your input, I really appreciate it. The Bird episodes are some of the first made, so I'm still working on the pacing. I've got some new episodes in process and I'm testing different drawing techniques although I like the hand drawn look. I should have some new clips up shortly.
