Thanks! (+ thanks for your comment too, GCharb). I am working on simplifying this skeleton rig so I can lock down the feet and work on Selgin's suggestions. I have found that if the rig has a large number of separate pieces, the "Lock Bone" feature doesn't work...not for me, anyway...

I adapted a figure from an Odd Job Jack artwork release (Creative Commons Licence). It doesn't look much like the original, though! I suppose you can make up your own mind!
