The town crier 1st episode!

Post by Uolter »

Hello all! I've finally finished my first little project on AS...well, It's not a great story, but I concentrated myself on learning how to manage a project, I've tried also to achieve the best movements possible. Here's the result, I know my voice sucks, so I made a subtitles file.

I would make other videos with these character so I think I will emprove the overall design in future.

Thank you for watching!

Haha, I like that story! :D And the animation is very well done. The movements are so smooth and punchy. Did you use blend morph on the head turns?

BTW, I also like your rabbit animation which i just saw for the first time.

That was really nicely put together! Good animation and clear story. It was an amazing surprise to spot my name on the end credits too together with others on this forum such as some of those above in this thread :D I was quite moved by that so thank you.

Thanks to all of you for the comments and sorry if I forgot to mention a few names on the credits...they will appear on the next ones :)

Gcharb: ehrr sorry I don't know what the expression anymore on the way exactly means, you mean if I'm planning to do futher episodes?

Iwaxana: Thanks Iwa! For the granny character I used blend morphs, I followed amigaman and selgin tutorials, for the town crier it was not possible at the moment because of the very simple construction of the head (just one layer) so I used switch layers with a bit of motion blur.
About the rabbit animation, It is my first attempt in absolute, it's been really funny but stressful because pencil has a lot of bugs, a cool application anyway! My friend rabbit's animation director saw it and wrote me a really nice comment!

Neeters_guy: Yes I played the guitar, there's a record studio near home and the owner is a friend of mine so I was able to make dialogues and music there!

Amigaman: Eheh really? It's just a little thank for your advices, they're making me understand a lot of animation looks!

Sbtamu: Yes the manhole cover is off...I forgot the TC shadow

Adriandog: Well...In the next episode maybe?

Genete: Yes you helped! I didn't forget the advices on my tests ;)
