This is the first completed part of my Postal Service MV im working on. Took me most of the weekend, on and off. Just wanted to know what you guys thought xD

This is my first personal AS project, so dont hate. All of the images were hand drawn on GIMP (without a tablet biznetchs). The Space Ship was modeled in Blender (this was actually myfirst blender model too).
This isnt final and still has alot of room for improvement so I'm open to suggestions and ideas. But I also wanted to ask a few questions.
1) In the video the space ship has no engine >.>. The ship is supposed to have 3 Ion Engines that fire off separately in time with the music. How can i make something like that (Masks confuse me)
2) The space ship has a red light that flashes on and off but it looks really cheasy. How can i create a realistic looking light in Anime studio. I was also going to make the stars "twinkle" a bit with the music to make it a bit more interesting. Any Ideas?
3)It wobbles...the entire time. Why? How can i make it go away.

Hi Janisarry!
I'm working on a home music video as well, it seems to be the only way to do a one-person project and get a vision across when you hate building sets (and putting up lights, etc. etc.) Glad to see somebody else is doing the same thing, and the song (what I can hear of it) is great!
1) Try drawing a quick sketch of what you're doing: what needs to go in front, what needs to go behind, and what needs to move in sync with the other elements. If you want to hide part of an object, you may just be able to make a vector layer of the spaceship texture overlap the engine exhaust, but since you have some fine textures (and you may want some more flexibility than simply covering over an area), you should probably dive into masks.
I was daunted by them but they're easy enough to figure out once you know the bug (always create an empty bottom layer in any of your mask groups, even when doing the tutorial in the manual). There are good resources here in the forum but it's a difficult thing to describe...the best thing to do is just create a new project and experiment with circles and squares.
2) I don't know an answer to the light question, but maybe you could change its brightness, blur, opacity, and/or colour over time instead of simply switching it on and off. One thing I'm learning in my own projects is that the little secondary details and transitions can help sell an effect.
How about a subtle "lens flare" vector object?
3) The jittering totally baffles me, I've never seen that before. Does one of your layers have its Vectors tab > Noise Settings turned on? Does it happen in an exported MOV file, or are you processing it somehow?
A word of advice about audio: I'm on the trail of a bug that stops exporting my audio after doing certain edits. I think it might happen after I click the "Mute Audio" button in the interface, to stop the music from annoying me when I scrub. That might not be the problem but it sure is odd.
Good luck, I can't wait to see/hear the rest!
Cheers,
Muffy.
