Tarboy
Moderators: Víctor Paredes, Belgarath, slowtiger
Hm ... that one lost me right at the moment Tarboy was created. Until then it was all fast and interesting, but then it totally grinded to a halt. The only good scene after that was the fight in the dark, with only the sparks visible - that was smart and inventive.
But anyway, double points for a good style, good colour set, and perfect execution of each shot. It's completely Flash animation, but one doesn't really notice because it's so fast (at least in the beginning). It nearly avoids any rotation other than around Z axis - but one barely notices. He makes clever use of particles - those overlapping colour spots are great, and very much in style.
The only complaint about the movement would be that he uses what Bitteranimator calls the 'antic/settle' abuse system. (see http://mymedicatedlife.blogspot.com/200 ... steps.html) He uses it everywhere and always with the same speed.
