Hi, I just have an idea to improve the scale points tool.
I always have problems because the scale box is always static on its axis. So, if you want to scale points not neccesary on X or Y axis you will have to make many tricks to get what you want (as rotate your shapes before scale, scale and then rotate them again to back to its real position).
Here's my idea. What if the box of scale points tool always maintain its rotation even when you rotate your workspace?
So, if you want to scale on any specific angle, just rotate the workspace to adjust in which exactly side you want to scale. It could be a checkbox to turn it on/off.
I don't know if I'm clear. Imagine this, the scale box is always paralel to the window, even when you rotate the workspace.
What do you think, dear scripters?

Re: Scale Points tool idea
I see what you mean, and have had the same issue.
How about this as the user interface:
When the scale tool is active, some modifier such as Alt or Right Click as you drag causes a rotation of the sizing box. (Perhaps a button on the top bar could Reset it.) Then the tool works as before, the only difference being that the size expansion is relative to the rotated rectangle. This might be less disorienting while drawing.
