I wanted to find a script for AS 6 that could enable you to create dynamic text effects, and if it does not exist, I think I have an idea of how it might be accomplished.
What if, you could input text in a box, give it entry and/or exit effects, and change the amount of key frames to complete the effects more or less smoothly.
I think it could be useful for title sequences, dubs, and just dialogue in general, kinda like Windows Movie Maker, or Microsoft PowerPoint.
I hope, if any scripters have time, that they can build this.
Note: If this topic is in the wrong section, please move it.
Thank you for listening, and please consider this idea.

To be honest, I clicked on this thread because I thought it was about dynamically lip-syncing dialogue, which I think would be possible using the phoneme recognition part of the Cairo speech-recognition engine. Anyway, I think your dynamic text idea is a good one too, especially if you could keep it dynamic so you could edit the text without having to redo the effect. I imagine you could do some pretty cool things with bones that can't be done in other programs that specialize in text effects.
