creating in power point
When creating in power point... what file type do I "save-as" to use in A6 Pro so that I can have just the shape or charachter I've created with-out the white background? Or, what file can be used and then edited from power point into A6 Pro?

Powerpoint won't let you have alpha on a video, sorry.
Now, if you want a simple character, you can export your animation and convert it to an animated gif in some program like corel photopaint, then you will have the option to set one color as transparent (on the image software, not in powerpoint).
One time I had to simulate transparency of a video for powerpoint. The only solution I found was to copy the background of the powerpoint file and insert it to my animation. The problem is that light codecs much times don't respect the colors. so it worked, but not too fancy.

I don't know Powerpoint (just lucky, I guess), but if you can export PNG files from Powerpoint in 32 bit -- or 24 bit with alpha -- or millions of colours+ -- then transparent backgrounds might work for you...Perhaps you can even export PNG sequences?
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
