Copy&paste don't seem to work with bones, but maybe there is a different way of duplicating them? Does anyone know of one? It would be great if I could make a copy of point or layer bindings as well. As I was thinking of a workaround to this problem I came to the conclusion that the only solution would be to manually edit a .moho file by copying and pasting definition of the bones.
What's your take on that?

There's two different problems in your question.
1. Copying a whole bone setup.
This is done easily by duplicating a bone layer (and all its sublayers), after that you can change all sublayers and create a different character with the same movements (when you already have animated the first one).
2. Copying one or several bones within the same bone layer, like for creating left and right extremities.
There was a script fopr that somewhere in the forum, but I've never used it.

@slowtiger: I'm interested in #2. I want to have all bones in the same layer and copy&paste those for the left/right arm/leg , fingers etc. to save me some work.
@arfa: vern's scripts? did you mean:

I can't find there any script related to bones duplication.
