Using AS6 content in AS5

I have been working in AS6 for a month but I need to switch to AS5 for a few weeks. AS5 will not open AS6 files. Is there any way I can get at least some of my work - the graphics - from an AS6 file to a AS5 file?

Hmm...I think you may be stuck there with only the possibility of having to use AS6. Unless there's something you can modify in the actual file. Not sure you can do this but perhaps open your file in a text editor and see if there's anything that says what version it was saved with, change it from 6 to 5, and try open it in 5. Good luck.

This method depends on you having Flash, or some program that can open Flash files. If the gaphics are vector, save them as a swf file (use consecutive frames on the timeline if you have problems). You can then save them back out as other formats, if you want. If they are bitmaps, you can just save them out from AS as such...
