Joe Scaponi - Customer From Hell - Short Cartoon in Dev

Post by rpc9943 »

hey there, it's been a while!

I have taken a haitus on my other project "Beoug", and am going to work on a simpler cartoon for a bit, when I feel like it... The Premise is quite simple: Joe goes to various "stands" and asks for things, and rambles on, but whatever he asks for is completely random and absurd, and furthermore, the cashier keeps saying "I'm sorry sir, but this is a (insert something completely different than what Joe wants to buy here) stand"

but joe doesnt listen and keeps pushing his way.

ha.

so here is a small demo of joe in action- but know I just THREW this together very fast, just to get the idea out. I will greatly improve the artwork and mouth positions... you'll get the idea

Cool. Excellent design for the head.

I like how the guy dragged out his esses. Cowsssssssss.

The blinks seems a little too fast, and the whisker stubble seems like it should move with the mouth. Since this is just a test animation, though, and you didn't ask for criticism, I probably shouldn't mention those things. I should delete this whole paragraph. I hope I don't click the "submit" button by accident as I reach for my cup of coff

haha yes the blinking was all temporary. i simply erased the white and black fill on the eyes. If you check out my beoug animation youll see kind of what i am capable of...

i think i want his stubble to not move just for fun... any input on that, guys? i think it would kind of detract from the mouth.... Could be wrong.

I plan to improve the face a whole lot more, i just pretty much took 30 mins to make real quick switch layers to get this guy going, ya know?
