HI all I am currently working on a project within a company
and guess what?
All the image file assets were and rigs were created on a network .so consequently ..file associations get lost if a file is moved ..tadaaa
are there any scripts that allow for re-association by stripping the directory structure to remove the network connections or something alng those line ..
as Iwould dearly love to take some of the work home but cannot ..well I could but it means re-doing all the file links and hoooo boy that would take a big chunk of time.. so any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know about relinking rigg files but there is a script on top of this side: viewtopic.php?t=2448&highlight=crashcore
named "Relink lost images" which works pretty well for image files, unfortunately I don't think it work for images inside "switch layer" though.
I hope it helps you a bit at least!
Good luck!

re: relinking lost files
hi again thnx for the reply
I tried this script but it oly seems to work on relative paths ..not absolute ..paths
this sems to be the problem as the images for the rigs was done over a network ..I opened up the anime studio file in a text editor and found the links all refer back thru a network
anyone else have any ideas /suggestions ..I know relinking the files manually at the moment is a no no, due to there being severalanimators accessing the same scenes
cheers
