Okay, so I've been using my Cintiq 12wx with CS3 for a while and it always bugged me a lot that the line I drew wasn't regular. Like, it looked wobbly and I had to draw at really close to get a decent line. I found on the UHNTERNUTZ that people have been having the same qualms. Then I discovered people saying their problem had vanished after trying CS4.
I'm using the CS4 demo for MAC, and it ROCKS! The lines are awesome from any zoom distance, and the rotate canvas tool is brilliant. Only been using it for a couple hours, but I'm blown away already by the line quality. Thought my Cintiq was dodgy, but it was Photoshop. Something about CS4 using the graphic hardware and AOpen. Well, I'm happy. Really feels 100 x better now. Yay yay yay.
