Ball having a seizure!

Post by arichman92 »

I got AS 5 a bit ago, and decided to give it a try. So, I made a simple circle (ball) and was going to make it bounce, following this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hh_bGIdH ... rofilepage. Anyway, when I moved the key action frame thingy to 24, I noticed that my ball was spazzing out and basically it looked like a seizure. This even happens when nothing in on the tablet. So, I reinstalled it, but the same thing keeps happening. What's going on?

Welcome to the forums!

It's hard to guess exactly without you posting a file, but one possibility might be that you have "noise" as some or all of your keys interpolation. Check the key interpolation to see what it's set for (the default is "smooth" but it's possible to change this).

Otherwise you'll either need to post a file or explain in more detail exactly what you mean by "spazzing out".

And make sure you do ALL the tutorials in the online help -- doing those is better than any you might find on the web.

I'm guessing with out seeing you file, but I hope you have realized that each point is unique. The have their own identifier or name, we just don't see it. So you just can't move points randomly, otherwise you'll get random movement.
