How to find audio file in Windows Vista

Hi, i was just working on lip syncing and i was about to put in the audio in and i went to the files where i had the audio stored but then it said no audio found? How do i fix this problem? Is it a setting in Vista? If anybody knows how to fix this problem please tell me.

Do you have service pack 1? M$ loves to ship incomplete software including operating systems. 50% of my new computer didn't work, now its like only 20%.

The other problem is there seems to be a zillion codec's for audio. Make sure you using an older one. AS really need to be updated to use the new codec
