Bondi Pirates

Post by Woodsy267 »

Hiya.

I have not had a lot to do here, but I have had this account for a while, and have been animating for about three years. I think three years is pretty good for a fourteen year old.

Anyway, I have deemed it necessary to post one of my animations for your enjoyment.

So here goes:

As the tilte of this topic suggests, the film's title is: Bondi Pirates. For those of you don't know, I am Australian, and Bondi is the famous beach down here.

I made this for TropFest, and it got shortlisted. It took a while to make. Longer than any other one that I've made in-fact.

Let me know what you think. If you have any ideas, I am making a sequel, so please let me know.

Bye.

Decent looking style, although I'm never too impressed to see Content Paradise characters in use. The animation was very minimal, and the repetition of the cash register part was too much. Also, there were no pirates even thought the Pirates of the Caribbean music was used.

Wasn't especially entertaining.

The scene lengths were good, and it moved along well. (No overly slow animation, which is very good.)

Hope these points help constructively.

haha its an alright job matey, but its better to draw your own (i figured that out)

which state are you from, 'cause i live in australia, in QLD, and i'm about your age - except i have only been animating since february - that's when i found out about anime studio.

STUFF WRONG:
- characters were from content paradise, not original
- i didn't really see much of a storyline within. i mean, if no one saw a description about your video, would they follow what you're talking about? thats something that needs to be considered with a story

but other than those few things, it was on okay sort of job.
=)
