Anime seems, in my experience, to become unstable when dealing with sound files.
Specifically, when changing soundtrack files, or linking sound files via bone wiggle script. As far as I can tell, once you have a sound file linked for soundtrack, then the same or a different sound file for bone wiggle, and THEN start changing things (for a shot with same setup but different dialogue, for example, or swapping out a sound file with edited levels to drive your bone wiggle) you are in a world of crashing anime, swearing, rinsing and repeating.
It comes good eventually, the trick has been to save before each step, hold your breath and cross your fingers and toes. Rebooting seems to help also. It's not the end of the world, but can be inconvenient.
Anyone else had this kind of trouble?
Any tips, certain file types anime is particularly allergic to?
War stories?
