I'm trying a animation with someone asking something and someone responding , i've got the first switch layer and sound sorted, but i can't seem to add a response with my second switch layer. Does anyone know how i can do it?
Thanks
Switch Layers for 2 different characters

There are two primary ways to control lip sync with a switch layer. The first one (the easiest) is to use a simple audio file which flips through switches depending on the audio level of a file. The second requires data which is usually generated by Papagayo (you bring the audio file into Papagayo and write out the words and generate the data file(s)).
With the second method you can use a single audio file and generate multiple characters from that file. With the first method you'll need to edit your audio files so you have two separate audio files to control each character -- this is a lot trickier since they need to sync properly (easiest way is to make the one audio file, dupe it, and erase the audio for one character from each file).
In either case the data to control the switch file (be it audio or a .DAT file generated by Papagayo) is loaded into each switch layer separately. So each one needs to be a different, separate file that controls each character. The audio for the timeline is usually the mix audio for all characters, but doesn't control the lip sync in any way.
