Hi from toxicink
I'm not an animator I just make back grounds and characters and sell them to people who use anime Studio pro
but I love your back grounds and characters your style of animation is to quick there is not much actual animation going on just a lot of close ups
but there good indeed!
when you did have actual animation it was a walking scene where the arms look to stiff and it looked like they were sliding, kinds looks like my animation and I'm not an animator like I said I just make stuff to sell

Great work! Aside from a little sliding in a walkcycle, I think this is pretty close to the style you're aiming for. Most 'animes' do use a lot of panning across still images, and for the style I thought most of it was quite appropriate.
But I loved that facing kick! Great action.
Any chance of seeing it with sub-titles?

Toxicink,
Mmm...an admittedly non-animator criticizing someone's animation? I don't blame him for not responding.
While I'm thinking about it though, how do you create characters for other people to animate if you, yourself, are not an animator? Backgrounds I understand (I hate doing background work myself). But how do you know what is needed from a character, as far as range of motion, views, expressions, etc?
Just curious.

I spend a lot of time making the backagrounds.
I make 1 or 2 a day depens on the background.
I like make them the most detailed possible.

Man, these animations are truly great. They are easily on par with many professional Animes, only they're done by a single person, instead of an entire studio!
I do have a question about how you achieved the look of hand-inked lines, though. Did you simply make them dark grey instead of black, or is there something more involved to the process?

There are a lot of things involved in the process.Rudiger wrote:Man, these animations are truly great. They are easily on par with many professional Animes, only they're done by a single person, instead of an entire studio!

The lines are dark, totally dark.
