I was inspired by an After Effects tutorial in this month edition from the Digital Arts magazine. This tutorial is also available through:
http://www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/tuto ... ureID=1618
Based on what I read I tried to create a simular effect with my copy of Anime Studio Pro (I don't own a copy of After Effects as it is very expensive software.....).
The result can be downloaded from:

PS I uploaded the files also to Youtube and Google Video, the quality was however very poor and you could hardly see it was a zoom effect. Therefore I posted Quicktimes instead.

I also had a look at the tutorial you mentioned. Actually I was inspired by the magazine tutorial but I couldn't understand everything from the article as I don't know After Effects at all. I searched a little on the net and I found the tutorial you mentioned, altough I lack the specific After Effects knowlegde I could understand what he was explaining and afterwards I used the explanation to create my version of the Google Earth zoom from the magazine with Anime Studio Pro.
