So here's a little something that I did for some friends of mine who are starting up their own company. It's a publishing company and they wanted a little animation to introduce their logo.
I did everything, storyboards/animatics, animation (Anime Studio Pro), layout, background paintings, -the only things I didn't do was come up with the concept. My wife helped me out with some of the subtler things of the storyboard and animatics.
The model for the boy is my own kid, who can be a little mischievous at times. I figured that having the opportunity to include your own kid in a piece of commercial work is rare, so why not go for it?
Let me know what you guys think. Here's the link:

Very nice...Slice.
The kids animation and backgrounds are sweeeet
. The swf full screen is slick and quick.
If I had to day anything though, its regarding the dough nut's last moments in the otherwise excellent camera move.- Maybe you could make it faster toward the very end to disguise the transition to the logo and make it 'snappier'.
If there was sound as well that would enhance the piece, birds chirping or something plus foley, with a call from a parent to explain why the kid discards the dough nut- isn't it tasty enough?
I know the newer flash versions have been ruining the sound on anime created swf's that previously worked just fine. I have been puzzled by this development myself. I assume this phenomenon is the explanation, eh?
All this said, I really liked it, nice one Slice.

Thanks!!! I killed myself on this one because I was also working on a real crunch project at work. Makes it worthwhile to get good feedback.chucky wrote:Very nice...Slice.

The audio was out of my hands. I made notes on the animation to suggest what kind of foley and sound effects to use and my clients/friends were going to go to a studio and put this in. This link is actually a 'test' link to check for playablity, etc. In fact I held off on posting this for that very reason.
-I probably should have stated this before though.
Again, thanks
