Auto PickColor

Post by rodannr »

Hi there again!, I have a new small question :). Is there a faster way to auto-pick a color from a shape that i already made?.. I mean.. what i actually do is to press Q Key (select shape tool).. and then copy the hexadecimal value from the Fill Color tool tip.. and then well.. reuse it xD..

In many (olders and newers software) there's a tool named "pick-up color".. or something like that xD.. so.. i (or we xD).. just click over some shape.. and it auto-setup that color generally on the fill-color tool set..

Well.. Thanks in advance :)!

Best Regards!

Once you have selected the Select Shape Tool (Q) look carefully the bottom (the info area) of the main window. It says:
Click on a shape to select it (hold <alt> for color picker, <alt>+<ctrl> for color pusher)
That's the shortcut

Also remember to read the built in help:
Here is an on line version of the previous version of Anime Studio (Moho) of the shortcuts:

I have not been able to figure out how to use the color pusher on my Mac.
Is the shortcut the same on macs? Can I push color from one layer to the other?
I do cartoons and make music. I like to make music because John K is not likely to tell me I am doing it wrong.

I guess you have to substitute the "ctrl" with the Mac "CMD" key. The short cut is only for current vector layer and having a shape selected.
If you want to copy a style from a shape from a layer to other shape of other layer you can use the copy and paste buttons from the Style window.

If you don't mind, I may have to steal that idea for an animation some day.

Animated mock-u-mentary of the 'color epidemic'.

-This your brain, this is your brain in color. Any questions?
-Do you know the warning signs of color abuse? (Aside from Hawaiian shirts)

'Come on, just try it. A little color never hurt anyone.'
-Just say no to color.

'Man she's a color whore. She'll do anything for a little color.'

M.A.C.C.-mothers against colored children

I know it sounds bad, but I still think it's funny.
