You may need to post your file -- fellow members here could then easily put you back on track.

Wasn't trying to be patronizing, but it appears that you are having some trouble following instructions. Even after Vern told you the steps to layer binding, you still didn't seem to get it. That's discouraging to any teacher. And those same steps are spelled out in tutorial 3.1, so you have to understand how I could assume you hadn't really worked through the tutorial (as opposed to just reading it).

Now all we can really do is look at the file, and if all else fails, fix it for you. :?

Now you need to go back and study how bones work and the lay out for characters:

The bone setup is strange. I don't know what you are trying to achieve.

You have valid questions... unfortunately we could be here all day trying to figure out what you are doing wrong.

Do the tutorials. Follow them until they WORK FIRST before moving on to something of your own.

I always use the online tutorial for people who ask me things in MSN.

Thanks Genete for the online help tip. Ever since you suggested using it I use it all the time. Saves a lot of typing. ;)

I only wish they would update it to the latest one.
