What ar e your computer specs?

I run AS on a 1.8 GHz laptop, windows XP, 2 gig ram and it runs everthing sweet. I can use sometimes over 100 layers in a scene and nothing has slowed down yet.

Its a 1.73 GHz, 0.99 RAM windows XP. I have to keep adding switch layers to stop it from slowing down.

I only had 500 mb ram in my system when I bought it and my Loopy Background AS files would start to give slow playback when the files got to around the 6mb mark. I threw 2 gig of ram into my laptop a few months ago and nothing has slowed it down yet. How large are the files you are trying to playback?

Just look at the files in your directory folder and select View/Details. This should show you the size of the file.

You got 0.99 RAM? Is that what you are seeing in your system?

RAM can either be 512mb or 1gig or 2 gig

very old computers have 128mb to 256mb
