PNG Eyeballs switch file for you

Post by GardenGuy »

I rendered a pair of "realistic" eyeballs in Bryce 3D, moving them to look in different directions and saved each as a PNG picture with transparent background.

I've put them all in a switch file for you all to use and have fun with. I apologize if you have to re-point the PNG's to each layer. IF so: Extract the folder and open the anime file. Double click on each switch layer and select the Image Tab and Image source and point each layer to the closely named Png picture.

I know there are shadows on the eyeballs themselves but that was the best I could do in Bryce.

Look for the Eyeballs switch file for Anime Studio file at:

I also posted a short mov video as an example of a face layer over the Eyeballs switch file eyeballs. My face has it's own switch layer to animate the eyelids and another switch layer for the mouth.

(The face is my MJ tribute character) The video example file is called: face over eyeball switch example.mov (not to be mistaken for another mov I have posted that has the fly. That one, the eyeballs are a switch layer made of vector layers that were drawn. )

You will have to resize the Eyeballs switch layer on Frame 0 to get the eyeballs the size that is right for your scene and then Translate the switch layer to position them where you need them. If the eyeballs PNG are still too big for you to use you can always edit them by cropping out a ring around each pupil and resave the PNGs. If you want a googley eyed character you can just put the eyeball switch layer over the face layer so you see the entire eyeballs.

Let me know what you think and how you ended up using them!
