The script that exports Photoshop layers to a finished Anime Studio file is extremely useful. Also, if you put all the Photoshop layers into a group folder in Photoshop, turn all the layer's visibility off, and run the script, it will export all the layers into an Anime Studio file, and all the layers will be PNG's inside a SWITCH layer. The layers retain their original photoshop layer names, so animating them with a switch layer is much easier.
Took a while for me to find the script. It comes with the installation directory of AS, in EXTRA FILES.
