testing out bone scale + point manipulation for head turn. whaddya think?

Nice!
The head edge is a little strange and his left eye should be scaled also.
You should work it a little more, Keep it on!
Translate the nose to the right to give volume to the face. Be brave and translate all the parts of the face to its correct position!
You can do it also even using scale turn technique. I think DK have also a sort of translate with scale technique that allow translation if the parts of the face.

you are absolutely right, the top of the head shape is off slightly when the head turns. will fix that as well as the right eye scaling. thanks

The face contour is better but the eyebrow and the eye must follow each other almost same deformation. Also I see something weird on the nose...
You must add hair.

Much better. I only would see the nose TRAVELLING to the right at the same time it is deformed. It would give VOLUME to the face...
