That's cool!!! So you can make a head turn (with a combination of point or / and bone motion) for the mouth and the switch layer continues working properly but in the rotated position... So they are like "actions" but without the necessity of have a bone as a reference system for the "relative to bone" point motion. So in fact if you transform the shape inside the vector layer between two switch layers keyframes you can have other interpolation than lineal (it would be a lineal interpolation of a smooth/step/noisy/ease ... interpolation)

There were some glitches and errors that I found too late to correct before the webmaster Kern went to bed, so the glitches in the glow and the replay button won't be fixed until the morning. But you can consider this as the more or less "final" version.
Now I have 2 or 3 days to finish the segment that goes between this one and the one with Ariel and Faen. It's going to be a rush.

Yes, you've got it exactly! That's what I've been doing in these segments.
I believe since the next segment is due on Saturday I'll hold off on posting progress on it until it's done, since it's not too long before then anyway.
I'm trying to sell my director/employer on the idea of switching production over to something more Anime Studio-ish. Is there a working link to one of the Ariel animations you did? Most of the links I've clicked here haven't worked. The best I've gotten was a splash page (un-animated).

Actually if they do jump on using AS, I'd like to see if I can get them to bring you in, Furby. But remember, 2D animation producers tend to be a little conservative.
Hey, sorry I took such a huge leave of absence. I find that MMORPGs are exactly as I thought they would be -- entirely too addictive. Thank you Ali980 for posting direct links to the animations. I didn't know that was even possible on that site. The links all became broken (several times, in fact) due to a new and poorly-designed database system for displaying the comic pages.
