Do any of you see the limits of AS or do I not know enough

I just got AS and I've made alot of cool toons, but I cant get the smooth action of frame-by-frame. I know I can use switches to get that frame-by-frame effect, but heres another concern. Say you have a character that walks down a hall and then turns around to walk the other way. You would have to have that character built with several switches to show the turn around if its not a 3d character. The same goes for if your toon moves in different angles than what the bones will allow you to do ( 3/4 turns with the body ect.). What's up is it me or do I need to learn more about the program. TEACH ME!

The best way to learn AS is to go through all the tutorials provided with it and try things out, and then ask specific questions here. I think you'll find the people here capable and very helpful, but specific questions are the way to go. Also, read the forum a lot. There are lots of threads about almost every aspect of AS that you can search for, and some very innovative techniques that people have explained already. It's almost like an encyclopedia of AS.

As for turning the body with bones, there has been a lot of discussion about that recently, and some really good examples, and explanations posted. Search for head turns, bone rigging, 3D rigging, and you'll probably find some. Also, some posters, like Genete and heyvern, have put up a lot of good things about this.

Okee Dokee, I'll work on the specific questions, and do more research on this forum thing. Cool, thanks.
