This is yet another visual homage to those thrilling days of yesteryear, back when children's educational television shows were... um... how do I say it, what's the word? -- "good." (<--- had to steal from Jon Stewart there - LOL)
But anyway, I'm feeling my way around learning everything I can, every inch of AS. Every week I discover something new about this software or one of you guys show me. I'm having incredible fun. Here anyway is yet another thing I did, and completed today. Thanks to what I have learned here, and thanks to this hellacious program ASPro5, I animated this from concept to completion with no storyboard whatsoever in seven hours flat.
Glad to see those 60's 70's images rescued.
I'll give you 4.5 over 5 on this animation. It is not 5 due to the low contrast of the 4 number in some of the count series. Music is cool. Effects are simple but concordant to those old days.
It could be cool hear a child crow saying: "one, ... two, ...."
It was the best I could do with the image sources! Higher quality soon. And about the kids' voices - those are going to be recorded next week and then synched sometime before late June. I'll re-post when they're all done.
They yell in English first, "One!" "Two!" "Three!" up to eight. Then they yell in it Spanish: "Uno!" "Dos!" "Tres!"
Then the sequence starts again, and the children will yell in English again: "One!" "Two!" and so forth, and then Spanish a second time too. I can't wait to record that.
