I've reading this thread about how to use crashcore scripts from macton. They are fantastic.
But I've found a way to make some object bounce very easily and with more control than with any script.
Even you can graduate the amount of bouncing making very easy to simulate a perspective bouncing.
Here the files:

Hope it helps to someone.

Easy bouncing

Thanks for your apreciation. I also notice something strange ant the end bounces.
The swf and anme files have been updated. The last bounces have been corected. Due to the fact that the horizontal velocity is constant and the vertical eight decreases, then the rotating cycle velocity must increase. So I have traslated the keyframes to make every smaller jumps a little quicker, mainataining the longitudinal velocity. Also I have modified the scale of the ball for make it more perspective realistic.
Now I think it is better.
You can delete the keyframe for scale the ball and modify the initial and last keyframs for bone traslation to reach a non perspective bouncing.
Thanks for the comments and hope it is helpful.

It is done with an special setup of bones what I call "springy mechanism" (heyvern putted it the name). With this setup you can convert a rotation of a master bone into an oscilation (linear oscilation) of other. Download the file and watch the bones setup and its constraints.slice11217 wrote:I have to agree, I wish I understood how this project is set up. Explanations, anyone?
There are two master bones one control the oscilation and the other the amount of oscilation.

It could be a little hard to understand but watch them read and ask if don't understand.
