Other communities to dicuss 2D animation in general?
Hi folks,
this forum is just a great resource for Moho. I hope the content won't be lost when it will be integrated into the CP-forums. Anyway, I'm looking for some communities in the net, where people discuss their ideas and animations, no matter which software they use.
Do they exist? If yes, can someone point me to them?
Michael

Hi Mike,
You could check out www.animationforum.net for a start.
There are more but i cannot think of any others at this moment of time, sorry.
If i come up with anymore i will post them. I'm sure other members here will have some great links to add!

I always thought the AWN forums were a good place for 2D animation. So check it out.

Try

flashkit
...for starters. (Flashkit has an Art, Animation and Illustration section)
Good luck

We're sort of Poser-centric, but there's an animation forum I mod that is pretty much open to any software, and we just added a forum for Anime Studio as well-will probably initially focus on technical but I'm hoping to deal with aesthetics and production aspects (writing, directing, etc.). All are welcome. -R

Michael,
check out the forum links on the front page of Animation Meat.
Not forum-related, but while you're there, also check out the Notes section of the site. Lots of valuable stuff.
Regards, Myles.

Over there in the http://www.bauhaussoftware.com/forum/ they often discuss animation on a very general level. Mirage is a pixel-based program, and it's always worth to know the "other side".
I heartily second Animation Meat! And of course the Bauhaus forum...
