IPad/tablet Moho Character Creator

Post by resa-challender »

I often have a creative burst of energy while away from my Moho Pro computer at home, or maybe I’m chilling on the couch and don’t wanna go sit in the computer chair, but what I’d LOVE is a Ipad/tablet app that does nothing but create user-ready characters for Moho. I would buy this! $$$

I’m not talking about one similar to the one already in Moho. I want SHAPES.

I’m hoping for an APP with all the shape and layer features found in Moho to build a base character, but bonus if it could add gradients. Extra bonus points it it could have bones or switch layers ready to load into Moho Pro and animated.

But if all it did is create shapes with their layers, I’d still buy it. It would help grab those ideas when they hit.

I do use AFFINITY DESIGNER to do this, but it imports as a single layer that I have to separate each vector-part out of, cut and paste each one to new layers, etc., and I’m often left wondering if I’m just making more work for myself. Its FRUSTRATING.

And thank you!

I would second this. I am considering getting a new iPad and it would be nice to be able to use it for drawing/creating characters. Being able to do bones would be nice as well. It doesn't need to be able to do any animating. Just something that would let me draw the characters, vector of course, and hopefully do bones as well. Then be able to save in a format that could easily be brought into Moho for animating.

And not just drawing characters, but objects and scenery and whatever as well. Basically, it would just have the drawing and boning features of Moho.

And bonus points if it could export to various vector formats (PDF, EPS, SVG, etc.) so that characters or other illustrations could be used in other software for non-animation projects like if you want to use a character you've created on a business card or in a newsletter or maybe your website and so on.

Basically, I guess it could be Moho Draw with boning capabilities.
