Looking for a drawing monitor.

Post by Lychee »

Hi.

For several years now, I've been looking for a monitor for drawing, but one that's reasonably priced and a comfortable size.
The only 27-inch options were Wacom and more recently Huion, but even though the latter is more affordable, it's still quite expensive.
So, I've been searching for the holy grail until today.

I recently came across a manufacturer that had apparently slipped under my radar: Alogic (Clarity Fold Touch 27), which is finally within my budget, even if it's still a bit pricey.

Note that I also found this monitor under the Innocn brand (27P1U), but it's now unavailable.

Then I finally found my favorite, the Acer ProCreator (PE270KT), a 27-inch 4K touchscreen monitor with a stylus, all at a really decent price of €599.
I think I'll go for this one next month, but in the meantime, I'm still looking, just in case.

6K and 32-inch versions are also available:

For example, I also found the Jupiter Pana 34, which is unique in that it's a 34-inch monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Alogic, mentioned earlier, has a version of its monitors geared towards artists, with a stand that can accommodate a Mac Mini, making it a sort of Apple-style Surface Studio.

Anyway, I wanted to share the story of my search and get your opinions on these products.
Feel free to add to my list if you know of other similar products.
