Moho 14.30 crashing on opening

Post by whelandw »

New MBPro, Tahoe OS, M4 Max Chipset, 48GB Ram
Used Tme Machine to restore files from my old MBPro. All of the applications I have tested so far have worked properly. Moho 14.30 crashed immediately with the message: “A fatal error occurred loading the application. Reinstall the application to correct the problem. (Error -7089)”. I removed the restored Moho application and attempted to reinstall Moho 14.30 with a new copy I just downloaded from the Blue Marble server. Same problem, same message. I bought the hubby the same computer as my new unit and installed iMoho 14.30 on his system. His Installation went fine. (Happy husband, except for having to help me troubleshoot :)) That rules out a corrupted downloaded installation file. My guess is there are some hidden files somewhere that I am unaware. Short of reinstalling the OS and all my applications does any one have further suggestions? Thank, Debby

Hi. The -7089 error code means a Moho support file has gotten corrupted on your Mac. Make sure you've completely closed out of Moho (this is important, as it won't work if Moho is still
open), then open up Finder. With Finder open, click on the GO > GO TO FOLDER menu. With that open, copy and paste this directory path:

/Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/

to go to that directory. Once there, delete the "Lost Marble" folder.

Restart Moho and see if it works any better now.
