Do you think timeline zoom feature is useful?
I often want to zoom in on the timeline to see the keyframes up close, but the limited zoom steps aren’t enough. Also, every time I zoom in, the enlargement of the keyframes feels a bit distracting. For example, if we could zoom in and out with the Alt + Mouse Wheel scroll effect—like in Premiere—focusing directly on the cursor’s position, that would be great. Then, if there were a drop-down menu at the top with a button that instantly resets the view back to default, wouldn’t that be awesome?

Agreed. The zoom feature is unrefined.

Great feature request.
Its one of the things i miss coming from TVPaint which also does the Alt+mousewheel zooming in the timeline.
