Yeah, Greenlaw is a saint for all the time and effort he puts into helping on the forum.
My only advice for help solving complicated problems is to post the file (or at least one striped down to only show the problem). There's far too much guesswork in text descriptions when looking at the file can solve the problem in a few minutes. This respects the time of anyone who might want to help but can't spare the time to go back and forth to narrow down the problem or make blind guesses.

Thanks, Hoptoad, for the detailed post.
And I agree with most of it. There are way too many variables for someone on a forum to figure it out.
I have seen already many instances where it was my lack of knowledge that led to the problem. I'm sure that was most of the time.
But when you move a layer up or down and the program crashes I don't think that's the case.
I've had several crashes since I've been using Moho a lot. All my software is up to date. I continually go through tutorials again as I gain more knowledge and find things I didn't get the first time.
You're method is definitely the way to go, but I've been using all kind of software since the mid 80s and this one seems less stable than it should be.
Having said that, I love the program and couldn't do what I'm doing without it.

I agree, that would be best. I've held off doing that due to the fact that there's no way to upload directly to this forum.
But I've resigned myself to just keep going over all the tutorials I can find.
Little by little, things are clicking.
