Handles and points hard to select - in each other's way

Post by NealF »

Hi.

When I'm drawing with the freehand tool, frequently at the end of a line, if I want to grab the last point I end up grabbing a handle which is right on top of the point. Then, of course, I get a weird line as I move the handle by mistake.

All I'm trying to do is move the end of the line a bit.
Is there a way to always grab the point and not the handle?

Thanks.

When using the transform points tool, you get a tool-specific bar up top. On the right are buttons that can turn bezier handles on and off. If you make the button with a tiny padlock on it gray, the handles go away in the workspace.
