Lip syncing is freezing after windows update.

I don't know if the last windows update is causing my software to act funny but now lip syncing is terribly slow. It freezes the screen every other minute is seems like. It's like it has to catch up or something. It was working just fine two weeks ago before the last windows update. Also when it freezes the SWITCH SELECTION SCREEN disappears and I have to click the screen a couple time for it to come back on screen.
Is anybody else experiencing this and if so what is the fix?

Whenever I see a sudden slow performance issue, the first thing I check for is any unintended negative keys. There's more info about this error, and a script you can install to fix the problem here...

This is a very rare problem (fortunately), and thanks to Wes' script it's easy to fix.
